With ten days to go until the senatorial elections of 27 September 2026, Yes Breizh has chosen to directly challenge the candidate lists in the three Breton departments concerned by the ballot.
The initiative pursues a simple objective: to know precisely their position on several institutional issues concerning Brittany. Devolution of powers, responsibilities and financial resources, reunification of Brittany or commitments likely to be brought before the Senate are among the subjects discussed, in particular.
The same questionnaire was sent to all the lists concerned, without political distinction. Yes Breizh, which points out that it is not a political party, thus intends to allow each one to freely set out its positions.
Responses, as well as any lack of response, will then be subject to a comparative synthesis published before the ballot.
Dear Sir or Madam,
As the Senate elections approach 27 September 2026, Yes Breizh would like to know the positions of the candidate lists on the issues concerning the institutional and political future of Brittany.
Yes Breizh is not a political party.
Like Yes Cymru, Yes Scotland and Yes Kernow, it is a civic movement that defends a simple idea: what concerns Brittany must be decided in Brittany.
With this perspective in mind, we have developed a questionnaire focusing in particular on the devolution of powers to Brittany, the powers and financial resources that could be transferred to Brittany, territorial organisation and the reunification of Brittany, and the concrete commitments that candidates could make in the Senate on these issues.
We are sending this questionnaire to candidate lists in the relevant departments of historical Brittany.
Our approach is deliberately open and non-partisan it is not a matter of asking the lists to endorse Yes Breizh's positions, but of allowing each one to clearly express its own position on these subjects.
The responses collected will be analysed comparative synthesis, which will be made public, in order to allow everyone to know the positions expressed by the different lists (including non-responses, which will be interpreted as a lack of interest in these subjects).
