The Yes Breizh 2026 annual report<\/strong>, presented by its president Philippe Corr\u00e9a, looks back at the movement's first year of construction, the work undertaken and the ambition carried around devolution in Brittany.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Presidential report<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Dear members, dear friends,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When five Breton women and men from different backgrounds decided to create Yes Breizh<\/strong>, we started from a shared observation and conviction: Brittany can do better and for that, Brittany must be able to decide more for itself regarding what concerns it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Very quickly, we also made a fundamental decision: that of not to create an additional political party<\/a><\/strong> and therefore not to add another Breton organisation to the existing ones, but to try to build something else.
We were then inspired by other Yes (hence the name Yes Breizh<\/strong>) and particularly Yes Cymru in Wales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our objectives were therefore to launch an open, cross-party dynamic, capable of bringing people together very broadly around a common goal: devolution and the capacity for Brittany to have greater control over its future.<\/p>\n\n\n

Build something else<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After just over a year, this first period of the existence of Yes Breizh<\/strong> will therefore have been above all that of construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had to create an organisation, define our values, clarify our project, build a team, develop our communication tools, start making a name for ourselves and, above all, transform an initial intuition into a structured and credible approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le Levrig, an initial step<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Book of Yes Breizh<\/a><\/strong> constituted an important and successful first step. It allowed us to set down our vision in writing and explain what devolution could concretely mean for Brittany. A new edition of the Levrig is planned for the end of October D026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, this document is not an end in itself. It must evolve, be enriched, and be tested against the realities and expertise of those who wish to take part in our discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turning reflection into capability for action<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

That is precisely the objective of the reflection committees set up in the first half of the year. They are expected to gradually take on an important role in creating added value for Yes Breizh<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Led and coordinated by our Steering Committee, they must demonstrate that our thinking and actions are not intellectual abstractions, but that they directly concern the ability to influence the daily lives of the people of Brittany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
