Logo Yes Breizh without capitals: why this choice?

from Yes Breizh

The lowercase "yes breizh" logo sometimes raises questions.
Some people have criticised us for calling ourselves Yes Breizh and no Ya Breizh.
A few others (much the same) are surprised to see the word Brittany written without capital letters in our logo.

Out of respect for Brittany, we always write the names, of course Brittany, Brittany, Brittany or Brittany With a capital letter.

There is only one exception: our logo.

Logo Yes Breizh lowercase: here's why.

The three other Celtic movements bearing the name Yes predate the creation of Yes Breizh.
The first was Yes Scotland, followed by Yes Wales, and then Yes Kernow in Cornwall.

So we haven't invented anything: we have deliberately adopted their graphic codes and the construction of their names.
Quite simply.

Yes Breizh belongs to this great family of Celtic Yes movements.
Everyone acts, according to their country's own situation, so that more powers and responsibilities are exercised in Scotland, Wales, Cornwall and Brittany, rather than being concentrated in London or Paris.

This is why Breizh appears in lowercase in our logo, and only in our logo.

A tiny graphic does not diminish our respect for Brittany in any way. The essential is in the energy we deploy every day to to advance devolution in Brittany.
